Book signing at WH Smiths! This is my recent book " A Most Unusual Journey " which has gone down really well. It is very honest and people seem to appreciate this. This is what the Preface says: " All of us are on a journey. Parts of my journey have been very difficult to write about, but if they are of some help to others on their journey then this will have been worth it. I believe that the most important part of our journey lies in our childhood because what happens to us then influences so much of what comes afterwards. I have called my journey " unusual " because you will find that I came to a crossroad, and the decision I made there changed my life. The path I took was definitely unusual, and although at times I wanted to go back, I'm forever grateful that I walked this path." The book is available at Waterstones in Worcester and Redditch and at Christian bookshops. ISBN No: 978-0-9562603-1-4. Published by Grafted. www.graftedbydesign.co.uk

This is my dear friend Ian who has been such a help to me. He is a professional singer who does Neil Diamond and Tom Jones Tribute nights all around the world. Do visit his website: www.alias-diamondandjones.com. We also play golf together and are known as the Mavericks! We occasionally team up to sing especially at family events.

This is the real me in my role as Chaplain to Worcester Warriors Rugby Club! I love the job as it keeps my feet on the ground. Professional sport is big business nowadays and it is thrilling that there are chaplains attached to many rugby union and league clubs, football clubs, cricket clubs, as well as in horse racing and athletics.
My job is to be available to players and staff and fans, to encourage, listen, and sometimes give advice. I meet up regularly with Christian players and I write an article in the match day programme.
Charm and I and the family have been fans for years so it was a thrill to be asked to be Chaplain. I have Rev Andy in large letters on the back of my training top on match days so I have to watch my enthusiasm! Being a fan means high blood pressure and short finger nails!

Recording an Elvis Gospel Service for BBC Radio. I was asked to dress up for publicity shots and not for the radio! This was a half hour slot with five gospel songs and I was also talking about Elvis's spiritual journey.

Elvis at a care home! Most of the patients had dementia but when Elvis appeared many of them started singing and some got up to dance!

It was very moving and humbling. They all wanted a few more rock'n'roll songs but they also really enjoyed the gospel songs.

They want me back!

This was the Gospel Tribute Act at Chipping Campden which was great! Unfortunately my teddy bear, Fitzroy, has fallen over at the side of the stool! He's not legless! He is nearly 100 years old and he has his own story to tell of how I found him in a dustbin in London!

This is Studley Cricket Club where I started out!
